Hi writers!

We’re so glad you’re considering Ditch Life Publishing LLC for your editorial support.

My name is Mia, and I’m the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Ditch Life. I work alongside our poetry editor, Maddy, to offer thoughtful, supportive editorial feedback for emerging and first-time writers. Together, we hold two Master’s degrees in writing and have spent the past five years teaching English literature and writing at the college level.

Our approach combines craft-focused guidance with the care and encouragement writers need as they develop their voice. Whether you're working on a short story, essay, or personal narrative, our goal is to help you strengthen your work while keeping the process collaborative, clear, and accessible.

We believe every writer deserves thoughtful feedback and a welcoming entry point into the editorial process.

Writer Testimonials

“Mia has a wonderful ability to see the heart of a piece and help shape it so the intention is clearer and stronger. Her edits are both insightful and encouraging: she challenges the work in all the right ways while making the editing process feel collaborative and supportive. I always come away from her feedback feeling more confident in the direction of the piece and excited to keep refining it. Any writer would be lucky to have Mia as their editor and reader.”
